Closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. We are open from 10 am to 6 pm on all other public holidays and look forward to welcoming you to the HNF!

Return ticket: All admission tickets (except for group tickets) authorise the holder to visit the permanet exhibition a second time within twelve months of the original visit.

* Reduced prices for Children and adolescents up to 18, schoolchildren, students, trainees, young people on military or civilian national service, persons with disabilities, senior citizens (60+), recipients of transfer payments.
Children under 14 are only admitted to HNF if accompanied by an adult.

Groups from general-educational and training schools, universities and universities of applied sciences as well as groups of kindergarten and day-care children will be admitted free of charge by prior arrangement.

Photography and filming

The creation of photographs or film/video recordings is permitted in the museum for private use only and without tripods or professional flash.

Public transport

The HNF can be reached by public transport with the Padersprinter bus lines 9 and 14, bus stop "MuseumsForum" directly in front of the building. Line 9 stops at the main railway station, at certain times it is necessary to change at Westerntor.

Timetables

Car parks and charging stations for electric cars

There are plenty of free parking spaces available in front of the HNF. Two car parks are reserved for electric cars. An EU standard type 2 plug is required for charging. The car can be charged with an Girocard or via the traction current provider. The pillar has two charging points so that two cars can be charged at the same time.

E-bike charging station

Near the cloakrooms are four charging stations where users of e-bikes can recharge their bicycle batteries while they visit the museum. You must bring a charging device, but the power supply is free.

Motorhome parking

There are three parking spaces for motorhomes in front of the HNF. It is not possible to reserve them.
